Place the water cooler a minimum of 2” away from the wall to assure proper ventilation. |

Unplug the power supply cord to the cooler. |

Remove the existing lid or AquaFlo (Whichever is applicable) |

Install the POU on the plastic cooler by inserting the lid in the top opening and turning it clockwise. |
| 5. |
Connect ¼ inch O.D. plastic tubing (not supplied) through POU cover and to the water inlet stub on the POU lid. |

Connect the other end of the tubing to the cold water supply using plastic elbow or fitting of your choice. |

WARNING: Maximum water pressure (including any possible pressure spikes) of cold water supply line must not exceed 45 psig. Manufacturer accepts no liability for property damage caused by excessive water pressure or improper plumbing. |

Turn on the power supply |

CAUTION! On hot & cold cooler models, ensure that the hot tank power switch located in the rear is in OFF position. Vent the hot tank by letting air out of the hot water faucet till water flows freely from it. Failure to fill hot tank before turning it ON may cause damage to the tank. |

Check all water connections and look for any water leaks. Check water flows freely from the faucets. |

Plug in the power cord. Turn the hot tank switch ON (if applicable).

To ensure optimum water temperature, allow 45 minutes to let the water cool or heat.

The POU Kit is equipped with two floats i.e. the primary level float and the safety float. The safety float will be activated if the primary float fails to operate. Periodically inspect the primary float’s operation by removing the POU lid from the cooler and manually raising the float to see that it stops water flow into reservoir.

REMOVING COOLER FROM OPERATION:
Ensure the following when the cooler is to be withdrawn from service:
Disconnect power supply cord
Shut off water supply to the cooler
Using bucket drain water from cold water reservoir through faucets. On HOT & COLD models, allow 1 hour for the hot water to cool down inside the hot tank before removing the drain plug at the rear of the cooler to drain the hot tank. |

CAUTION! ALWAYS DRAIN WATER COMPLETELY BEFORE SHIPPING OR STORING THE COOLER. ON HOT & COLD UNITS BE SURE TO DRAIN HOT TANK BY REMOVING THE DRAIN PLU AT REAR OF COOLER AFTER DRAINING COLD RESERVOIR. |
